11i (Elfi) is a mixed-media artist based in the Netherlands. Their work centres lino prints of strange creatures, mythical beings, and everyday objects that appear on clothing, paintings, paper, textiles, and animation. Through repetition, these figures make up an alternative universe which decorates and protects them. <3

With a background in Gender Studies, 11i explores the boundaries of 'normal' and how reclaiming non-normativity can foster subversive, community-centred ways of living. Through a colorful, nostalgic, and critical lens, seemingly mundane objects and undervalued creatures become essential sites of self-expression, knowledge, and resistance. With their wearable art - handcrafted from deadstock fabrics and repurposed materials - 11i invites you to build your own alternative worlds that are personal, political, and playful.​

Together with Sophia, Elfi hosts lino printing and zine workshops to cultivate spaces for accessible artistic creation, reflection and connection with others.
