SILENT DOGS BITE

Named after the Dutch saying “Blaffende honden bijten niet” and the English “All bark, no bite”, SILENT DOGS BITE is a new series about (non-)communication. Big, theatrical clashes may not always hold the answers, but silence gnaws its way beneath the surface. Between blunt knifes and lighting blunts, biting thoughts fill my mind with imagined anxieties that are somehow more hurtful than the literal contact of teeth to skin. While a silent dog may seem chill, perhaps sometimes it’s better to just feel its bite.
